September will bring two opportunities to meet Ice Rebus in Split, see our technology in person, and learn more about the business and ideas behind our global network.
On September 4, Ice Rebus will join the 6th Split Tech City Festival as an official partner. One week later, on September 10–11, we will be at Innovate Split 2026, where Ice Rebus Founder & CEO Marsel Čuljak will take the stage with the talk “From Machine Builder to Intelligence Company.”
For us, the two events represent different sides of the same story: building technology in Split, growing internationally, and continuing to be part of the local ecosystem where much of that work happens.
Split Tech City Festival 2026: September 4
The 6th Split Tech City Festival takes place on September 4, 2026 at Amfiteatar Žnjan in Split, with the programme beginning at 6 PM.
The festival brings together founders, entrepreneurs, developers, designers, marketers, investors, students, and members of the wider technology community for an evening of talks, panels, networking, and conversations by the sea. Attendance is free, with registration required. This year, Ice Rebus is an official partner of the festival.
Our team will be there throughout the event, together with an Ice Rebus machine, giving visitors the opportunity to see the technology outside the usual online presentations, photos, and videos. It is also a continuation of our relationship with the Split technology community.
Last year, Marsel Čuljak represented Ice Rebus on the festival’s main stage. This year, we return as a partner, supporting an event that brings together many of the people helping shape technology and entrepreneurship in Split and the wider region.
Although Ice Rebus technology now operates in more than 50 countries, Split remains the company’s home and the place where much of our technology is designed, developed, and built.
Innovate Split 2026: September 10–11
A few days later, Ice Rebus will join Innovate Split 2026, taking place on September 10 and 11 at Technology Park Split.
The conference focuses on innovation, investment, entrepreneurship, technology, and the ecosystems that help companies grow. It brings together founders, investors, innovators, developers, business leaders, and members of Croatia’s broader technology and startup community.
Ice Rebus will again have a machine on site, giving attendees the opportunity to meet the team and see the technology behind the company in person. But this time, part of the story will also be told from the stage.
From Machine Builder to Intelligence Company
On September 10, Ice Rebus Founder & CEO Marsel Čuljak will present: From Machine Builder to Intelligence Company
The talk explores a transformation that has been taking place inside Ice Rebus for years.
Ice Rebus began by building machines. Today, those machines form a global network of connected assets supported by proprietary hardware, software, IoT technology, operational data, and continuous learning.
With more than 1,500 autonomous ice vending machines operating in over 50 countries, every new installation also contributes to a growing body of operational knowledge. That information can feed back into engineering, software development, remote management, maintenance, and future product development.
Marsel’s talk will look at what happens when a manufacturing company begins thinking beyond the physical product and starts using connectivity and data to improve the entire business model.
It is a subject that reflects where Ice Rebus is today — and where we are heading next.
